How questions are made
Every question on CertPrep Coach is original. None are real exam questions, and none are copied from other practice sites. Here’s how each one is made and kept accurate.
Built from Microsoft’s own outline and documentation
Each exam has an official study guide listing the skills it measures. Every question maps to one of those objectives, and the mix of questions follows the exam’s weighting. Answers are based on current Microsoft Learn pages, and every question links to the page that backs it up.
The quality bar
- Clear and specific. The scenario gives you what you need to choose. No vague “best answer” without saying what “best” means.
- Exactly one defensible answer. If an expert could argue for another option, the question is rewritten.
- Tests understanding, not trivia. Most questions describe a situation and ask what to do.
- Believable wrong options. Each one is a mistake a learner might really make.
- Explanations that teach. Why the right answer is right, and why each wrong one isn’t.
Checked before and after publishing
- Questions are drafted with AI help, then checked by a second, independent AI pass that answers them without seeing the answer key. Anything ambiguous goes back for a rewrite.
- Automated checks look for missing sources, duplicates and gaps in coverage.
- A person reviews questions before they go live.
- Source links are rechecked every month, and questions are updated when Microsoft changes a product or an exam.
Help us fix mistakes
Every question has a “Report a problem” button after you answer it. Reports go straight to the review list.
